In October 2016, Ned Cakovan, a 4WD enthusiast from Rockhampton Queensland and part of the Nissan Y62 Group, traveled over 10,500km from Rockhampton to Uluru via Birdsville, Simpson Desert, French Line and Mount Dare before heading north via Tanami desert to the Kimberley and returning home on a set of Geolandar A/T G015.
"I would have to rate these new Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 tyres as the most capable all terrain tyre I have had on any of my previous four wheel drives, that's over 20 years of owning and driving them" - Ned Cakovan 4WD Enthusiast.

Ned Cakovan rates the YOKOHAMA Geolandar A/T G015
Quiet, good handling, really good tyre wear, and very good grip in both wet and dry conditions. This score and comments are for my car fully loaded to GVM. I just haven’t had the opportunity to drive them with the car empty.
Simply superb. They were very stable off the bitumen. Never once did it feel like the car wanted to slide, or lose traction, when cornering. They absorbed the corrugations and rocks without issue.
Mud/Wet gravel conditions: 9/10
For an AT they were awesome, we never found ourselves stuck. And as you can see from the pictures, there was plenty of wet and opportunity. There is no doubt that mud terrains would perform better on this surface type, but from all the different types of AT tyres I have driven on in my previous vehicles, I can honestly say these have perfomed the best in these conditions.
