KMs driven is on 3 sets of Cdrive.

I've driven > one million kilometres for work and tried all the (so called) good tyres. Yokohama is without doubt the best in all conditions. Their C Drive is superior to tyres fitted by manufacturers to new cars which are usually slected on price only.

Peter Brock told me on one occasion that we have four rubber pads the size of a man's hand connecting us to the road and that's not much. Therefore it makes perfectly good sense to ensure the best tyre available is fitted to our car.

Another important requirement - car owners must check tyre air pressure at least monthly and keep it over 32psi. If in doubt about this, just ask the people at a tyre store -"What is the main reason you replace tyres?" They will tell you - Under inflation.

FYI...I'm buying a Volvo XC90 next month and before it's driven out of the dealership, I'm having a set of ADVAN st fitted. (C drive isn't suitable for this vehicle)

I've 80,000km on these and they have been fantastic in all weather and road surface conditions. I would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting great handling, superb wet weather grip and long life from their tyres. Have had 2 sets of these on 2 different cars and cannot fault them.

Great tyres, great on the wet. One of the main reason I decided to buy this tyre was its performance on the wet, extremely important for both my wife and I. I have to thank my father-in-law for doing the research. The numbers of KM on the tyre I'm not sure but I know they have last us for a while now, and the time to get new ones is closer and I'm 100% sure will get the same C.drive tyre again.

Comments:
The C drive was a notable step up from the Bridgestone Turanzas (OEM) the car was originally fitted with. Being a reasonably powerful front driver, wet roads resulted in annoying wheelspin at the slightest touch of the pedal, however the C Drives seem to be more grippy as well as reasonably quiet. Would almost certainly buy again.

I am truly happy with this tyre. Comfort & silence are as advertised. Comfortable, quiet and stable during high speed cruise of about 170km/h to 190km/h on the motorway. Grippy and comfortable on windy and not too smooth country roads.

After 60,000km of use, front threads are about 25% remaining and rear threads are about 10% life.

Intend to replace the current set with another Yoko C Drive.

Great Tyre upgrade from the OEM. Good in the wet and wear well. My mechanic was impressed when he saw them on my Car.
I have bought two sets of these and will buy again in the future. Also one of the few good tires that suit my wheel size.

Good in Dry & Wet, progressive tyre (slip controllably) , low noise, moderate wear. A little pricey, got to ring 6 shops to find a better price. I buy these each time now & on wife's Camry.

Comments:
Having a turbo car means you need grip especially in the wet.
I keep c drives on the front no matter what, they just keep on gripping.
I have tried them on the rear but i found they wore out way too fast driving a turbo car daily so i now have c drives on the front and a harder tyre on the back.
Hands down the best tyre combination i have had on my car.

I tried to use this tyre for racing.
It's so grippy.
But it couldn't be used for drifting.

(The C.drive is not a race tyre. However, it evolved from a design called the Yokohama A539. This tyre was used a bit in club level motorsport. The C.drive is now quieter and longer lasting yet it still gives high performance which benefits safety - Comment from Yokohama)

Comments:
A noticeable improvement over the OEM tyres all round. Traction Control seldom kicks in, the handling limits seem to have been improved, and they are noticably quieter. Only minor downside is tyre life, the originals lasted 80K, C-Drives around 60K. I guess that is consistant with a softer compound. I am about to buy another set before winter hits.

We have put C-Drives on three cars over a period of 3 years: 1990 Subaru Liberty, 2003 Mazda3 and 1960 Triumph TR3A. Very happy. They handle nicely, grip strongly in all conditions and best of all are quiet and comfortable. They look good too. Highly recommended.

I've made two sets of these tyres smooth and found them to be outstanding. They were driven daily on wet and winding (many hairpins!) alpine roads encountering snow and ice regularly and they exceeded my expectations on these surfaces continually. They hang-on to wet roads very well even when worn to the wear indicators.

Tyres replaced the Bridgestone OEM which had become noisy & irritating with a drumming sound. The C Drive were immediately much quieter and smoother to drive on. They are also less harsh as you would expect with the new depth of rubber to cushion the impact of bumps etc;

Over the past 25 years I have had A001s and numerous other styles till the C.Drives. Right from day one these tyres felt good, responsive in both the wet and dry. Most importantly though, they gave you the" feel", you could always feel how much grip you had left before loss of traction. Great tyre, wish I had't been swayed by the salesman to try a #o*o instead, I will buy Yokies again next time no matter the price. I have found your tyres deliver the performance you pay for, and with good mileage.

3rd set since they replaced the A539. Average 45000 km per set before the outside edge is worn. Excellent grip in the wet right down to the Tread Wear Indicators. Excellent grip in the dry. Still quiet to the last. Best performance for the price.

Since replacing the original Michelin tyres with the Yokahama C.Drives my Subaru Impreza is like a different car to drive, they are an extremely quiet tyre when driving on the highway and offer good grip both in wet and dry conditions.I wouldn't hesitate recommending this tyre to friends and family.

I find the tyre to be very stable and sits very steady through tight corners ie small roudabouts.Cornering on the open road ( Gold Coast hinterland ) style roads the tyres are very good with great feel through the steering. My tyre size is 225/45 R17 94W.

This tyre has so far proved excellent. I feel secure in the dry and wet. I accidentally took a corner too fast in the wet and was very surprised to just drive through the corner as if it was a dry day. I am looking forward to having a good tyre for a good number of kilometres to come.

Comments:
These tyres are a big improvement to the Pirelli P6000 that were on the car previously. They are grippy, hard wearing and quiet. Braking is also noticeably improved. These have already done 25,000 KM and they have heaps of tread left. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a hard wearing yet sticky performance tyre.
